Practice will focus on interacting with others using simple and more complex sentence structures and appropriate follow-up statements and questions on the topics of forms of communication, social relationships, and invitations and plans. The instructor will also guide the students in exploring real-world videos and news articles through fun and level-appropriate tasks.

Objective: Learners in this class will build on skills developed during the Beginner and Explorer beginner-level, and Independent Low 1, 2 and 3 classes (approximately 270 contact hours) and the first two levels of intermediate-level classes. Practice will focus on interacting with others by using connected sentences that may combine to form paragraphs and asking a variety of questions, often across various time frames on the topics of expressing agreement and disagreement, culture events and gestures used in Spanish speaking countries, and more. The instructor will also guide the learners to explore real world videos and articles by giving them fun, level-appropriate tasks.

Objective: Learners in this class will build on skills developed during the Beginner and Explorer beginner-level classes (approximately 216 contact hours) and seven intermediate-level classes (approximately 126 contact hours). Practice will focus on interacting with others by using connected discourse (sentences and some paragraphs) and asking a variety of questions across various time frames. Topics will include problems related to living in big cities, giving recommendation and advice to friends, rules and prohibitions around the world and more. The instructor will also guide the learners to explore real world videos and articles by giving them fun, level-appropriate tasks.

Objective: Learners in this class will build on skills developed during the Beginner and Explorer beginner-level classes (approximately 216 contact hours) and nine intermediate-level classes (approximately 180 contact hours). Practice will focus on interacting with others by using connected discourse (sentences and some paragraphs) and asking a variety of questions across various time frames. Topics will include plans and projects, risky sports, admiration to others, the things we do best and are terrible at doing, and more. The instructor will also guide the learners to explore real world videos and articles by giving them fun, level-appropriate tasks.
