The instructor will also guide the learners to explore aspects of the cultures of the Spanish-speaking world.

Practice will focus on interacting with others by using connected sentences that may combine to form paragraphs and asking a variety of questions, often across various time frames on the topics of environment, recycling, natural disasters and more. The instructor will also guide the learners to explore real world videos and articles by giving them fun, level-appropriate tasks.

This is when class confirmation/cancellation decisions are made, and your registration can make a difference. - Objective: Learners in this class will build on skills developed during the Beginner and Explorer beginner-level classes (approximately 216 contact hours) and six intermediate-level classes (approximately 108 contact hours). Practice will focus on interacting with others by using connected discourse (sentences and some paragraphs) and asking a variety of questions across various time frames. Topics will include job searches, expressing feelings, argumentation and more. The instructor will also guide the learners to explore real world videos and articles by giving them fun, level-appropriate tasks.

This is when class confirmation/cancellation decisions are made, and your registration can make a difference. - Objective: Learners in this class will build on skills developed during the Beginner and Explorer beginner-level classes (approximately 216 contact hours) and nine intermediate-level classes (approximately 162 contact hours). Practice will focus on interacting with others by using connected discourse (sentences and some paragraphs) and asking a variety of questions across various time frames. Topics will include plans and projects, risky sports, admiration to others, the things we do best and are terrible at doing, and more. The instructor will also guide the learners to explore real world videos and articles by giving them fun, level-appropriate tasks.
** This class will be held at TLC's main office - 193 Polk Ave, Conference Room A, first floor. While we accept registrations up to week two for a confirmed class, please enroll by June 30. This is when class confirmation/cancellation decisions are made, and your registration can make a difference. - The course is for learners at a Spanish proficiency level of CEFR B2 / ACTFL Advanced Low/Mid and above. Learners in this class can narrate and describe in the major time frames of past, present, and future in paragraph-length discourse with some control of aspect. They can appropriately handle the essential linguistic challenges presented by a complication or an unexpected turn of events and can contribute to conversations with sufficient accuracy, clarity, and precision to convey their intended message without misrepresentation or confusion. During this course, learners will gain more linguistic ease, confidence, and competence as they provide structured arguments to support their opinions and discuss more abstractly some topics related to their particular interest and special field of expertise.
