(course designed for true beginners) While we accept registrations up to week two for a confirmed class, please enroll by September 23. This is when class confirmation/cancellation decisions are made, and your registration can make a difference. Objective: Learners in this class will be introduced to a very basic repertoire of words and simple phrases related to personal details and concrete situations. Practice will focus on appropriately asking and answering questions within the topics of greetings/introductions, sharing basic contact/personal information, and basic descriptions. Learners will also be introduced to Korean culture and customs through multimedia and cultural interactions.
** This class will be held at 193 Polk Ave, Suite D, (2nd floor), Nashville, TN.While we accept registrations up to week two for a confirmed class, please enroll by September 23. This is when class confirmation/cancellation decisions are made, and your registration can make a difference. Objective: Learners in this class will build on the knowledge acquired in Korean Beginner 1. Learners will continue to refine their pronunciation, comprehension and production abilities in Korean. Practice will focus on appropriately using both the polite and honorific endings, continued talk about weather, daily activities, and basic descriptions of both situations and people. Learners will continue to be introduced to Korean culture and customs through multimedia and cultural interactions.

Objective: Learners in this class will review and build on the knowledge acquired in previous Korean Beginner classes. Learners will continue to refine their pronunciation as well as comprehension and production abilities in Korean. Practice will focus on continued appropriate use of both the polite and honorific endings, continued talk about daily activities, daily schedule, upcoming plans, weather and condition as well as how to incorporate new grammar into conversation. Learners will continue to be introduced to Korean culture and customs through multimedia and cultural interactions.
