Practice will focus on interacting with others using simple sentences and questions in both the present and past. The instructor will also guide the learners to explore aspects of the cultures of the culture of Italy and Italian speakers around the world.

Practice will focus on asking and answering questions within the topics of greetings/introductions, family, personality descriptions, and asking for and providing basic, personal information. The instructor will also guide the learners to explore aspects of the cultures of the culture of Italy and Italian speakers around the world.

Practice will focus on travel (lodging, transportation, etc.) and learners will continue to develop their ability to describe, ask for and provide basic information. The instructor will also guide the learners to explore aspects of the cultures of the culture of Italy and Italian speakers around the world.

This is when class confirmation/cancellation decisions are made, and your registration can make a difference. - Objective: Learners in this class will continue to build on what they acquired in Beginner 1, 2 3, 4 & 5 increasing their vocabulary, improving their understanding of syntax and grammar in the Italian language, and further build their confidence and comfort level during everyday practical conversation. The instructor will continue to guide them through the different facets of Italian culture and modern usage of spoken standard Italian.

This is when class confirmation/cancellation decisions are made, and your registration can make a difference. - Objective: Learners in this class will build on skills developed during the Beginner 1-6 levels and Explorer 1 by increasing their vocabulary, improving their understanding of syntax and grammar in the Italian language, and further building their confidence and comfort level during everyday conversation. The instructor will continue to guide them through the different facets of Italian culture. Practice will focus on interacting with others by creating simple sentences and asking appropriate follow-up questions on the topics of fashion, childhood/family stories, trips and more. The instructor will also guide the learners to explore real world videos and articles by giving them fun, level-appropriate tasks.

They will expand their grammatical knowledge by learning the formal imperative and the voi form, as well as key comparative structures. Topics will include health, vacations, and healthy lifestyles, while reinforcing vocabulary related to the body and everyday interactions.

Admission for new students is determined via a placement test and available space. This course is for learners of Italian at a level Advanced Low/Mid and above. Learners in this class can narrate and describe the time frames of past, present and future in a paragraph-length discourse. They can contribute to conversation with sufficient accuracy, clarity and precision to convey their intended message. During this course, learners will gain more linguistic ease, confidence and competence.
