Avant STAMP stands for Standards-Based Measurement of Proficiency and is a web-based test that assesses language proficiency.
STAMP 4S (offered in Arabic (Modern Standard), English, French, German, Hebrew, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin (Simplified & Traditional), Polish, Portuguese (Brazilian), Russian, and Spanish)
An Avant STAMP 4S test has four sections – Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking, and the results of this test inform test takers and educators about learning progress and program effectiveness. Avant STAMP 4S test items are based on real-world, everyday situations. Avant STAMP 4S measures a test taker’s language ability according to Benchmark Levels that are based on national standards. Test results will indicate the level of proficiency achieved for each section of the test.

STAMP WS (for other languages not mentioned above for STAMP 4S, see complete list here: https://avantassessment.com/stamp-ws)
The Avant STAMP WS language proficiency test is a semi-adaptive test. Test takers will be asked to answer seven self-evaluation questions that best represent their skill/ability level in both the Reading and Listening sections. The self-evaluated reading score is used to determine the level of prompt delivered for the Writing section. The same applies for the listening self-evaluation related to the Speaking prompts. This allows the language productive sections to be more appropriately leveled for the test taker. STAMP WS provides the same detailed reporting of levels based on the ACTFL Proficiency Guidelines as Avant’s other assessments.

STAMP for ASL. This assessment was developed to align with the same proficiency scale and rigor as all other Avant STAMP tests. Test takers may be evaluated on the Receptive skill (the ability to comprehend ASL) as well as the Expressive skill (the ability to create ASL) including the use of ASL grammar. This computer-adaptive Sign Language test is conducted entirely online and does not require a live interviewer. The Expressive skill is scored by members of the ASL linguistics community that have undergone Avant Rater Certification training.
